Hey babes! My apologies in advanced if this post makes you as hungry as interested in skincare all of the sudden haha. Because on one side, we have these cute little bar soaps and all the benefits of oits natural ingredients, and on the other hand we have, well, their yummy ingredients! Coconut and olive oil.
So far we all know the benefits of natural soaps. They’re usually handcrafted and use only natural ingredients, they don’t contain synthetic or artificial coloruing and fragrances. They’re also parabens free and some of them are cruelty-free. Now, these two bar soaps I’m trying are from two different brands and even countries, and I loved the idea of doing a little review after trying them out.
COCONUT SOAP – MIES COSMETICOS GOURMET (Argentina)
The first one was this delicious coconut soap by the Argentinian brand Mies. The soap smelled like actual coconut and it has like grated coconut all over the soap. Texture was lovely and soft. and I felt my skin so clean after using it. Thanks to coconuts’ antioxidant and antibacterial properties, this soap helps to delay cellular aging, and thanks to the addition of coconut oil and shea butter in its ingredients, the soap can be used for all skin types, including dry and sensitive skin.
I absolutely loved Mies coconut bar soap! My skin felt great and smelled delicious. Great product!
GREEN OLIVE OIL SOAP – PAPOUTSANIS (Greece)
I know what you’re thinking and no, you won’t end up smelling like a salad after your shower. Actually, if you move past that intial moment of hesitation about getting a soap made of actual olive oil, you’ll find a natural, healthy and efficient product for your skin. With a barely-there natural fragrance, a nice creamy texture and an accurate olive green color, this soap leaves your skin smooth and clean. Best part? It doesn’t contain parabens, mineral oil, synthetic colors and ingredients of animal origin.
To me this was another win, and the product lasted quite long! It was the first time trying a Papoutsanis product and they got off a great start! 🙂
I was very happy and pleased to be using natural soaps, knowing that the ingredients were all natural and non-harmful to my skin. If you’re considering this kind of soaps I’d definitely encourage to go for it! Both your skin and our planet will thank you for it. 🙂
xoxo
