These crazy, crazy transition days… One day I’m wearing a leather jacket, the next, some denim shorts. The outfit I had originally planned to feature this Zaful top was full on Autumn, but I woke up the day of the shoot to a sunny, blue-sky day that made my outfit look ridiculous. Instead, I replaced some of the items and came out with this half summer – half autumn look that somehow worked!
First of all, let me tell you, this lovely black floral top* came perfect in time for the last weeks of summer, cause it still has a casual, fresh feel to it but it doesn’t necessarily scream summer, do you what I mean? I found myself wearing it a lot and it’s that kind of item that can be easily styled according to the weather.
Accessories-wise, the captain’s hat or nautical cap, is undoubtedly the one piece that elevated the whole look to a modern outfit. Cause let’s face it, just like rounded straw bags and thin cat-eye sunnies during the summer, this particular hat became ‘the’ item for bloggers last a/w (sharing the throne with berets, to be fair) and it’ll still be a thing for the upcoming season. Speaking of this hat, my boyfriend loved it so much the first time I wore it that literally made me promise I would include that statement in this post, which I found surprising and sweet (his words: «please make sure to include in your post that your boyfriend loves that hat and wants everyone to know it», lol) <3
