Hey babes! Today I’m trying one of Lancôme’s most popular and said to be efficient serums: the Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate. I’ve seen SO many great reviews about this product that I couldn’t wait to test it myself. Does the serum lives up to its reputation?
But first, I’m so sorry for being absent on my blog (and yours!) during these first days of December. Wedding planning is no joke lol so between that and well, life, I sincerely had no time for blogging. I’m also changing my photographer because he has now a new job (but he’ll be forever my fave Style by Deb photographer). So I’m in the talks with someone new that will be taking over from next year 🙂
So after that little update I’m going straight to the point: Lancôme’s serum. I really want to strat by saying that the design and presentation are gorgeous. It feeels elegant and luxurious, at first sight it almost looks like a little parfum bottle. The design is also clever: you twist the cap/dispenser and load some product. Then click the top to dispense the exact right amount of serum you need, which is by the way, not even much: one drop is enough to cover the face and neck.
This serum is patented and enriched with hyaluronic acid, ceramides and probiotic fragments and 40% more actives than the previous version. Lancôme claims the Advanced Génifique Serum targets key signs of youthful-looking skin: texture, fine lines, wrinkles, radiance and clarity. They recommend using it using it mornig at night after properly cleansing the face. 🙂
So although for some it might be too early to start using anti aging products, this serum works in anyone from 25 years and older who have dry and dull skin, fine lines, under-eye dark circles and/or lack of hydratation. Bear in mid that people with oily or combiantion skin can also use this product.
I’ve been using it for a week and I already see a subtle glow in my skin and no dullness at all. It impresses me how smoother my skin feels immidiately after I apply the product. In the mornings it instantly gives me a fresh face look and radiance, and it feels nicely hydrated as well. No wonder why this serum is one of the most highly demanded from Lancôme! I can’t wait to see how my skin looks ater finishing the bottle! It’s a definite 5/5 from me <3
If you want to start dipping your toes in the anti aging waters this could be a great start because it not only positively affects your skin in the long run but it also shows you little visible results after a week. Like I read somewhere out there, “it’s like an insurance policty for your face” hahaha I just loved it –cause it’s true! Have you tried this serum before?
