Hey babes! So I’ve got good news and bad news for you. The good news is that I’ve finally shot some pictures for OOTD posts with my new photographer, yay!!! But the bad news is that she’s now travelling and won’t be able to edit and deliver until Valentines Day more or less 🙁
But honestly after all this months of waiting I’m happy I got to make a big photoshoot again and have lots of content for outfit posts. Until then I’m happy to share some goodies from the skincare realm that I’m now using.
LA ROCHE-POSAY MICELLAR WATER ULTRA FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
You hear La Roche-Posay and you know the product is going to be good quality. They juts don’t mess around with fancy stuff and go straight to the chase. Their micellar water is one of the best out there. It’s suitable for sensitive skin and it doesn’t only remove makeup but also cleanses and soothes the skin. It cleanses down to microscopic pollution particles given that “dirt-encapsulating micelles in the formula attract dirt, oil, and makeup, making it easy to gently wipe them away.”
It claims to cleanse 99% of long-wear foundation, which I can confirm, and it’s oil and paraben free. It has the loveliest mild scent, and it just leaves your skin feeling fresh, clean and glowing. This micellar water has become my favorite so far and I 100% recommend it!
CLARINS TONING LOTION
Clarins Toning Lotion with Chamomile, Alcohol-free for Normal or Dry Skin is a toner that balances, softens and soothes the skin. The addition of chamomile to the ingredients is perfect given its inflammatory properties. It also is a hypoallergenic and helps to reduce skin irritants by neutralizing free radicals.
This toner is also rich in Linden extracts for balanced, fresh-feeling skin and contains Clarins’ Anti-Pollution Complex and my second favorite acid, Lactic Acid. I apply it the way the recommend it: with light pressing motions to my forehead, moving outward, then in the middle of the face and moving toward the ears.
You can absolutely use it before your serum or moisturizer, and it doesn’t interfere with makeup either. The scent is extremely subtle but equally delicious. Last but not least, your skin will indeed look soothed soft. <3
