Strong ‘Mean Girls’ vibes with this Romwe pink co-ord -because on Wednesdays we wear pink! 😉
Ah, the early 00’s. Co-ords, pointy stilettos, bubblegum pink and iconic teenage dramas (Mean Girls, The O.C, Laguna Beach, Gossip Girl…) I’m here to pay homage to that glorious era wth this Romwe outfit that seems to be straight from Regina George’s closet.
Cropped, short-sleeve, tie-front tops were HUGE last spring (when I originally posted this outfit on my IG). I find them super cute and brings back all the 00’s nostalgia. Underneath that top I’m wearing another Romwe cropped spaghettti straps top that you’ll see in an upcoming post.
The pink plaid skirt was quite big for me, sadly, so I had to alter it. The design has like pronounced hips, which added too much volume, so I’m planning to alter that as well. Overall is a nice skirt, and I’m obsessed with the colour, but bear in mind to size down!

To complete the co-ord, they added a cute matching scrunchie, which I thought it was super adorable! The scrunchie is quite big as well! Haha, but that one has an easier solution. Even my Ideal of Sweden phone case is matching!
There was one obvious choice of footwear and that is Barbie-like pink pumps, so that’s what I got. My pumps were part of a huge splurge haul I did ealier this year after discovering Everything 5 Pounds. They’re more of a neon fuchsia pink, and the heel is chunky, rather than 00’s kitten heels.
