Hi lovelies, this Insta recap is probably the shortest recap so far in all these years because in case you haven’t noticed it, I wasn’t posting much on Instagram last month. For the first time in 6 years of blogging, I took a week break of social media and yes, it’s true what they say, it’s liberating.

So yeah, if you see my Instagram for the past month of Septmeber you’ll see a significantly less amount of pics than any other previous month. I didn’t even plan it, it just happened. September was a pretty stressful month for me, both online and offline. Deadlines were suffocating me from left to right, I suddenly had too much on my plate and I wasn’t delivering 100% on all of my projects. Offline stress hit too because of paperwork issues and a bunch of other deadlines. To top it all, my laptop decided to die lol and I had to run to get a new one (ouch to my wallet). So with all that going around, I would simply stare to my phone with all the social media apps there.. and nothing would happen. No exciting ideas, no motivation, no energy for them. Actually, I saw them and saw more deadlines with brands, which stressed me even more. Oh heck, not to even mention my IG hit a low-engagement record right before my week off.

I did what I had agreed on with certain brands, that content did go live, but as for the rest, I just hid. I didn’t want to have anything to do with content creating for a little bit. With all honesty, if I didn’t have new items and deals arriving, I would’ve just extended that hiatus. I enjoyed not being constantly thinking of my social media for once. Ever since I started blogging, social media had occupied a big part of my brain and heck it felt liberating not to use that side of my brain for seven days hahaha.

So despite «being back», I still feel like I perhaps needed a bit more of time.. But, if I learnt something about this short experience is that I shouldn’t wait for another 6 years so feel burnt out and take a little break from blogging and/or social media. I should do it every now and then, even with a plan instead of just giving in and simply not opening the apps for days. I hope if you’re reading this and feeling equally burnt out from content creating, you take my advice 🙂 Plan ahead and take a little while, nothing happens if you do.

xoxo

Deb

Hi lovelies, I’m back after 8 days of no posting on IG! I think I’ve never done that before on my 6 years of blogging, which is crazy and not quite healthy if you think about it. Like I said in one of my last posts, I was feeling too overwhelmed by everything in my life, I had too many things on my plate and even though I kept posting new blogposts, my social media was inactive for a bit more than a week while I was trying to cope with everything and give myself a moment to relax. I felt like burntout from blogging and content creating in general, and I’d love to talk about this in more detail in some vid if you’re interested, but for now I’m wrapping up this post saying I guess I’m back! Thanks for staying around, babes. ❤ Ps, in the middle of all the chaos of my life, my laptop died and I got thia new HP laptop that I’m kinda introducing here in this post haha, say hi to my new blogging buddy! 😊 . #photography #flatlay #laptop #flowers #picoftheday #flatlays #flatlaysquad #microinfluencer #influencerargentina #influencer #bloggersofinstagram #bloggerstyle #bloggerargentina #bloggersalteña #instablogger #instagirl #flores #primavera #hp #cute #instafashion #lifestyle #productshot #fashionphotography #likeforlikes #whatiwore
