Wait, what did just happen this month? I got engaged, got a new tattoo, couldn’t have time to celebrate Halloween for the first time ever, got back to Argentina after living half year in the UK… Uff… let’s rewind, shall we?
Happy belated Halloween, my lovelies! This year for the first time, I couldn’t make any Halloween posts for the blog because of all the travelling and prioritizing other content. Also, whenever I do Halloween posts they’re based on cool ideas and inspiration I find on Pinterest and save on my Halloween Fever board. But again, this year I didn’t have much time to do that either.
To continue with my failed Halloween 2018, I didn’t dress up or bake something special for the date, although that happened to me last year because just like this time, I was travelling. So yeah, when I say travelling I mean being back in Argentina after half year in the UK. Oh man, coming back was tough, lol. I miss by man more than anything, but at this point we know how to deal with our long-distance periods of time. Like yesterday for example, for Halloween, we did a horror movie date night, even though we’re continents apart. We played the same movies on Netflix and then Amazon at the exact same time, and we were commenting them over the phone. Pretty romantic and especial J How did you guys spend your Halloween?
And yes, October was the craziest month of the year. In case you didn’t read it on Instagram and Twitter (lol), I GOT ENGAGED! I got engaged to the love of my life after a magical night at the Aqua Shard, on the 32sd floor of the iconic The Shard in London. Realizing that I was going to spend the rest of my life with the only man I love from the bottom of my heart, and with the whole view of London at night under our feet, it was all a dream come true.
Before that, while we were in Wales, we got matching tattoos (yep, as extreme as it sounds haha). He got a D in a cool font in is arm and I got a R in another cool font in my arm. At first sight they look like abstract symbols but when you think twice you can see the actual letters.
So, you can bet it was more of a romantic month rather than a spooky one, but also sad because I had to leave my fiancé for a while and come back to my hometown. And girls, if you have any tips for weddings on a budget start sending them over! 😉 I’ll slowly start thinking of our wedding and I’m ready to dive into the bridal world. <3
Wishing you a happy November, guys!!
xoxo
