Roses are red, violets are blue, I got a Haute Florist Valentine’s Bouquet to review. (… I know…)
Okay guys sorry about that intro, I just couldn’t resist. As Valentine’s Day is only days away, many of you might be thinking of last-minute ideas for your boo. Flowers are an absolute classic, the type of gift that never fails and of course, it’s valentine’s proof.
HAUTE FLORIST
Haute Florist* offers responsably sourced luxury flowers, using only the highest quality stems. They have pretty much anything from traditional bouquets, letterbox flowers, hat boxes and even plants. You can also search by occassion (birthday, anniversary, new baby, with sympathy, get well soon, and more).
Naturally, this time of the year, there’s a full section exclusively dedicated to Valentine’s Day. Hand-tied bouquets, hat boxes and hampers fill the most romantic section of their website. In my case, I got Valentine’s Day best selling bouquet: a traditional 12 Red Roses Bouquet.
12 RED ROSES BOUQUET
Apart from the protagonists -12 large Rhodos Roses, this arrangement includes white Gypsophila, Eucalyptus, and Palm leaf. This results into a gorgeous contrast of lively colours and different shapes, making the bouquet more interesting the more you stare at it.
Presentation doesn’t stop at the flower arregement itself. When you open the door, the first thing you see is a sleek (and mysterious) white box with the Haute Florist logo on it. The bouquet is well-preserved inside and should arrive in perfect conditions, like mine.
EXTRAS
They also threw some cute little extras such as Day 1 and Day 3 flower food sachets, a discount card, a dedicated note, a little leaflet with tips for Rose, Freesia and Tulip care, and a card with information about the roses used in the bouquet.
From that card, I learnt where my Rhodos Roses come from (freshly grown and cut from a farm located 55km from Kenya) and a care guide to maximise the life of these beautiful flowers. I’m not sure how much of these «extras» come in the actual orders but I thought it was cute they included all these perks and info.
What I know for a fact is that if you’re ordering any Valentine’s bouquet, you can add a luxury chocolate box, a cube of Hearts or a Valentine’s candle for a few extra pounds each.
ETHICAL AND SUSTAINABLE
So if you’re still wondering what to get your lover this February 14th, consider these ethically sourced flowers by Haute Florist. They also recycle 104 tonnes of green waste into compost and 60 tonnes of cardboard per year! Because your special someone deserves love and beauty, but so does the world we all live in. <3
I’m really proud to collab with a company that cares for the enviroment to the last detail. I mean, they replaced most plastic packaging e.g bubble wrap with sustainable paper alternatives. And their individual flower food packaging is fully compostable and the ink printed on it is dissolvable to ensure that it degrades.
Either for your other half or as a treat to yourself or your bestie, check Haute Florist stunning arrangements this Valentine’s Day!
xoxo
