GREEN DRESSLILY BUTTON-UP DRESS - Style by Deb With black accessories

A new collab is here and this green Dresslily button-up dress is the first item of the lot!

You’ve probably seen this lovely dress on my Dresslily try on haul Reel, but wrinkled and without styling haha. It has a lot of potencial in terms of different styling options. For the pictures I went on the feminine, dress-up side, adding my new black court heels, cateye sunglasses and a bow-knot headband.

Can we just stop for a second on the shoes? They’re covered in some velvety material and has some small satin ruffles as detail. I love shoes with ankle straps otherwise there’s the risk of them being a bit too wide and loose for my feet (which happens more often than you’d think lol). That was the case of my favourite black pumps. They are gorgeous and I still wear them but not to walk around too much as I struggle keeping them on my feet.

Back to the dress, I can’t wait to wear it on a proper spring days (we haven’t had any of those yet here in Wales). I imagine it with a few buttons down, with a denim jacket and white sneakers and a nice raffia messenger bag. On the other hand, this dress has a lot of Autumn potential too. Just picture it with tights, ankle boots and a black coat.

I’m just a sucker for all-year-round items that maximise my wardrobe. Having said that, the other two dresses I got from Dresslily in this collab are purely summery haha. Stay tuned to see them or go to my Instagram Reels for a sneak peak!
