My love for Dresslily summer dresses continues and this time I found one of my favourite daytime dresses: the Dresslily striped midi dress.
The dress is super fresh and flowy. I love its practical midi lenght because I don’t have to worry about short-dress problems. It goes beautifully with either heels or sneakers. You know by now I love versatile items. You can easily combine this dress with tan wooden block heel sandals or faux-leather tan flat mules.
I apologise for the lack of proper stylism for these photos. The thing is, I had a stupid accident (caused by myself lol) with the edge of the car door and it resulted in a kinda deep cut on my right leg. It happened right before that day’s photoshoot and I did two outfits (including this one) in total pain before giving up and going back home. The first outfit was featuring another gorgeous Dresslily summer dress, and I edited out the injury lmao.
When I look at these photos I can feel the pain again lol. The cut is still healing and I guess it will be a long way to the final scar moment. It’s a shame I wasn’t wearing the cool heels I wanted to wear with this dress, along with the accessories I planned. But oh well, something tells me I’ll be wearing this Dresslily midi a lot this summer, so it will have its heel moment eventually. 🙂
