With Christmas around the corner, I come to you with a great gift idea for your loved one: a CARAT* LONDON jewellery item.

CARAT* LONDON was founded 20 years ago with the clear mission of creating fine jewellery exclusively using quality alternatives to mined gemstones. These are mainly lab-created diamonds and high-quality hand and machine cut Cubic Zirconia crystal.

MIMOSA DROP NECKLACE
The necklace I picked for this collaboration was the Mimosa Drop Necklace, part of their Stella Collection. Inspired by bright starry nights, this exquisite piece features Carat’s signature Stella star motif with their Brilliant Round and micro set stones and is crafted in Sterling Silver.
I’m in love with the design and how sparkly the stones are. It is definitely an eye-catching necklace but not because of its size or crazy gem colour combination -it’s its subtle elegance and shine that peeks through a tailored suit or a whimsical dress.
It came in an expensive-looking branded box with a leather-like texture. Inside, a grey satin lining with CARAT* LONDON embroidered in silver displays the necklace in its full glory. Basically, it’s a beautiful presentation for a beautiful item.
I already plan to wear this necklace for Christmas or a New Years Eve party -I don’t even know what clothes I’m going to wear but I’ll definitely include the Mimosa Drop Necklace on my outfit, that’s how much I like it. I mean, it’s elegant, modern, ethically made, what else can I ask for in a jewellery item?
You can also match the necklace with other pieces from the Stella collection such as the Celestia Bracelet, Nova Drop Earrings or the Sargas Ear Cuff as they feature similar elements like the twinkling star motifs and drop details.
