BLOGGER ILLUSTRATIONS - Style by Deb

So, you must be wondering what this is all about… Yeah, I know how to keep a secret 😉 . Short version: 1. sometimes I draw 2. my bloggiversary is coming.

Long version: As my blog’s anniversary is getting closer I’ve planned a couple of surprises for you all. The first of them is about showing some love to those bloggers who have been following closely this journey of mine, whether on social media or in the blog itself… or both! And here’s when the drawing thing comes in. I’ve been doing these sketches in black and white since forever, calling them ‘fashion illustrations’ is probably a little too much, they’re more like… fashion illustration-meets-cartoon drawings! I do it just as a hobby like, I don’t know about techniques or anything, I just happen to have different drawing pencils and a steady hand, lol.

So, I had a major Jack Dawson moment ↑ and I drew my closest blogging gals ala Deb. 😉 Two of them are not fashion bloggers so, Launna and Izzy, as I couldn’t draw you girls in some OOTD I drew your profile pics! 😀

I hope you like them!!! And please know that although I just drew some of you it doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate every single comment I receive, because I do. <3 Stay tuned for more surprises y’all!!

Bueno, se deben estar preguntando sobre qué es todo esto. Si, sé cómo esconder un secreto. 😉 Versión corta: 1. a veces dibujo 2. Falta poco para mi ‘bloggiversario’.

Versión larga: Como el aniversario de mi blog se está acercando, planeé un par de sorpresas para todos ustedes. La primera de ellas es mostrar algo de amor hacia aquellas bloggers que han estado siguiendo de cerca esta travesía mía del blog, ya sea por las redes sociales o en el blog en sí… o en ambos! Y aquí es donde entra lo del dibujo. Hago estos dibujos en blanco y negro desde siempre, llamarlos ‘ilustraciones de moda’ es quizás demasiado, son más como… ilustraciones de moda caricaturescas! Las hago a modo de pasatiempo, o sea, no sé sobre técnicas ni nada, sólo resulta que tengo muchos lápices de dibujo y una mano precisa, jaja.

Así que tuve mi gran momento Jack Dawson ↑ y dibujé a mis bloggers más cercanas ‘a lo Deb’. 😉 Dos de ellas no son fashion bloggers, así que Launna e Izzy, como no las pude dibujar desde algún outfit post, dibujé sus fotitos de perfil! 😀
