Well, almost everything. 😉 Total black ensembles will be always cool and for today’s outfit I’m channeling my inner Lara Croft or some leading lady of an action movie that looks badass.
My attitude kinda changes when I put my boots on, a black tee and my favorite biker. I’d say I get into character but that sounds like I’m pretending to be someone I’m not, and that’s not the case. It’s more like a high dose of attitude or something. The same happens when I wear a ladylike outfit; I automatically feel more feminine and even elegant. That’s one of the coolest things about fashion, it serves as a non-verbal form of communication sometimes and I find that fascinating.
So, I hope you like this all black outfit, except for my classic tartan scarf. By the way, my photographer wanted to try something different for some of these photos and that’s why some of them look more ‘gloomy’ than others. We used a silver umbrella-style reflector for the flash, oh yeah, and we used the flash haha. I point it out because we never use it given that, as we all know, nothing beats natural light. But this little experiment was nice for a change! Do you like the effect?
