Okay so this is officially my last outfit of the year AND the decade (not that Style by Deb lasted a full decade but it’s been almost 7 solid years haha). As New Years Eve is all about glitter and sparkles, I thought this brand new FemmeLuxe dress* was going to be perfect.
If you’ve been following my FemmeLuxe instalments, you’ll know by now it has been all hits, not misses yet. And this dress won’t be the exception! I’m a bit mad the photos didn’t do them justice. The best part of this dress is its gliterry effect and sadly in some pics you can just see a grey fabric.
However, let me tell you, this metallic fabric is different. We’re not talking about regular glitter, but like some sort of holographic coloured glitter. At FemmeLuxe you could find this same dress in two versions: purple and blue glitter, I picked the purple and in real life, when the light reflects the dress, you can see a crazy purple holographic shade all over.
For a winter NYE I would’ve styled this differently. For some reason this gives me some Ariana vibes so I would’ve chosen a high ponytail or half ponytail, a cute choker, sexy thigh-high boots and a cool jacket. But I’m spending New Years with my family in Argentina as always, so a summer style is more accurate.
