We’re just a couple of days from Christmas and reaching the highest level of festiveness. As you might know by now, and I repeat it every single year, I’m a huge Christmas junkie and I truly love this time of the year. I don’t wanna rush it, I want to enjoy every second of it.
Having said that, it was a matter of time till I made an OOTD post with the most Christmassy combination I can think of. 😉 Green and red are the most traditional color combination of the season. This sweater is actually in a weird shade of green, I don’t know how “green” it would look on each of your screens, but I can tell you is green in real life. 😉
Now I want you guys tell me, what are your plans for this Christmas weekend? Or if you’re reading this on the weekend, are you having a good time? I’m spending these days with my family as usual. Christmas Eve in my country is like a dinner/party where all the family gather together in nice outfits and eat a lot of food and drink champagne or apple sider 🙂 I usually don’t eat that much of dinner itself because, having the sweet tooth that I have, I’m always looking forward to the desserts and the sweet table that comes afterwards hahaha.
Christmas as a grown up is quite different and yes, I’ll say it, not as exciting as when I was a child waiting to unwrap the presents Santa brought me. And believing in Santa of course 😉 Anyway, the best advice I could give to all the peeps out there for a genuine Merry Christmas from now on, is to cherish those memories from past Christmas, the ones we always think were the best, and focus in making new memories from all the upcoming Christmas we have ahead. I mean it, guys. That comes from someone who’s constantly comparing “the good old days” with the present. I’m learning how to apply that logic into my life in general. Cause life changes without your consent, like it or not, with or without warning. Sorry I’m rambling, guys. I just think there will be many changes next year in my life and that kinda scares me. Thinking that this might be the last holidays I’m spending in a certain way and with certain people also scares me… Anyway, sorry for that. Don’t we all get a bit more emotional at this time of the year? Haha. So, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas day surrounded by your loved ones. I wish you all peace, happiness and joy! Estamos a un par de días de la Navidad y alcanzando el punto más alto del espíritu festivo. Como se deben haber dado cuenta ya, y lo repito cada año, soy una gran fanática de la Navidad y realmente amo esta época del año. No la quiero apresurar, quiero desifrutar cada segundo de ella.
Habiendo dicho eso, era solo cuestión de tiempo hasta que haga un post con la combinación más navideña que se me pueda ocurrir. 😉 Verde y rojo son la combinación de colroes más tradicional de la época. Este sweater es un realidad de una rara tonalidad de verde, no se que tan “verde” se verá en sus pantallas, pero les puedo asegurar que es verde en la vida real. 😉
Ahora quiero que me cuenten, cuáles son sus planes para este fin de semana de Navidad? O si están leyendo esto en el finde, la están pasando bien? Yo voy a pasar esos días con mi familia, como siempre. Nochebuena en mi país es como una cena/fiesta donde toda la familia se reúne en lindos outfits, comemos mucho y brindamos con champagne o sidra. 🙂 Yo usualmente no como mucho de la cena en si porque, siendo lo golosa que soy, siempre estoy esperando los postres o la mesa de dulces que bien después jajaja.
La Navidad ya de grande es muy diferente y sí, lo voy a decir, no tan emocionante como cuando era una niña que esperaba para abrir los regalos que Papá Noel me trajo. Y creeré en Papá Noel, claro 😉 Pero bueno, mi mejor consejo para todos aquellos que quieran pasar una genuina Feliz Navidad de ahora en más es, guardar en em corazón los recuerdos de aquellas navidades pasadas, las que siempre creemos que fueron las mejores, y concentrarnos en crear nuevos recuerdos de todas las siguientes navidades que tengamos por delante. Lo digo en serio, chicas. Eso viene de alguien que está constantemente comparando “los días dorados” con el presente. Estoy aprendiendo a aplicar la misma lógica a mi vida en general. Porque la vida cambia sin tu consentimiento, te guste o no, con o sin advertencias. Perdón que me esté yendo un poco a las ramas, chicos. Es que crep que van a haber muchos cambios en mi vida el año que viene y eso como que me asusta. Pensar que están puedan ser las últimas navidades que paso de cierta manera y con ciertas personas también me asusta… bueno, perdón por eso. Acaso no todos nos ponemos un poquito sentimentales en esta época del año? Jaja. Bueno, espero que pasen un hermoso día de navidad con sus seres queridos y yo les deseo mucha felicidad, paz y alegría! Los veo después de Navidad!
