Hi babes! How excited do you feel now that we’re officially in “Holidays mood”? I literally become Elf from the movie this time of the year haha. But Christmas is not the only exciting thing going on right now: new La Beaute Fatale makeup too! 😀

I know so many people constantly looking for new cosmetic brands that are cruelty-free and/or include no harmful ingredients and chemicals in their products. Well, I’m please to introduce you to La Beaute Fatale Luxury Cosmetics & Beauty Products*. This company has awesome makeup while maintaining a socially responsible stance in the beauty industry. La Beaute Fatale Cosmetics offers products that are:

  • Paraben Free
  • Allergy Tested
  • Non-Comedogenic
  • Hypo-Allergenic
  • Fragrance Free
  • Cruelty Free – Not tested on Animals

How cool is that, huh? You can purchase any of their foundations, mascaras, eyeshadows, correctors, lipsticks, lip glosses, contour products or brow products without worrying about your skin health and the wellbeing of animals. <3

As for me, I had the pleasure to test the following products:

This lovely eyeshadow trio includes three versatile shades (from left to right):

1.A champagne shimmer perfect for adding light in the inner corner of the eye and on the brow bone. It’s well pigmented and its brightness is not necessarily sparkly but rather subtle. It reflects the light beautifully, it’s like a classy shimmer, I’d say. And love it.

2. A salmon-pink mix that cheers up the whole makeup look and adds some youthful femininity. This one is the most pigmented of all of them and stays in place for a really long time. The color is quite shimmery as well and just like the champagne one, it reflects a lot of light which is perfect if you want your eye makeup to “open” your eyes visually.

3. A light brown-ish bronze only shimmery if reflected on light. The darkest color of the trio palette comes perfectly for creating dimension in the outer corners of the eyelids and feels like the perfect company for the other two shimmery colors. The shade itself is hard to define because it’s not plain bronze; on certain angles you can see warm opaque light brown undertones.

Eyeliner is one of my everyday makeup products and my cat-eye has become my little signature over time. I tried all possible liquid eyeliners (currently using a brush tip matte eyeliner from NYX that I can’t really get used to) but this kind of pointy felt tip is my all-time favorite. I always come back to this type of pen liquid liners cause are perfect for my thick kinda sixties cat eye, and this one from La Beaute Fatale didn’t disappoint. It’s not the blackest eyeliner out there but it’s definitely black. It dries fast and the consistency reminds me of the NYX one I’m using at the moment and it’s quite long-lasting. Being a huge user of liquid eyeliners I can 100% approve this one!

I’m a bit disappointed by this product simply because it was way too dark for me 🙁 they sent me a Medium and I did test it myself one Sunday afternoon when I was at home (I was like tanned for one afternoon lol) so that I could tell you guys about the performance of the product, but after I tested it I gave it to a friend whose skin color fits with this BB cream. I’m glad she ended up liking it! What I could tell from my one-afternoon test: it looks even darker at first glance, but when you’re actually applying it and spreading it on the skin the color is not that ‘concentrated’ anymore, and after the first 10 minutes it blends beautifully. You can tell the presence of aloe vera on the texture of this cream. As someone who uses pure aloe vera every day I could feel almost the same “tightness” when I applied this product. It has no fragrance whatsoever and the finish has some glow but it’s far from looking oily or uncomfortably shiny -I truly loved that texture. It feels lightweight and does even the skin tone pretty well. I haven’t used it enough to tell if the anti-age factor is accurate or not but if you’re really interested I could ask my friend after a while and give you some update on that matter. 🙂 One thing is sure, though: if I had got this in the right skin tone, I would’ve used it regularly.  Texture is everything!

Accurate name for a high-impact lipstick color. This bright red with orange undertones comes in handy for my upcoming summer Christmas in Argentina 😉 The texture is lovely: feels creamy but looks matte! That’s a total score! Color started fading after I had something to eat so I reapplied once. After that it lasted for a couple of hours before it started fading again. I do love the shock factor in the color and I’m in love again with the texture of the product. This liquid lipstick ended up being one of my favorites! Definitely recommended!

Eyeshadow Palette (Ring Finger)

Liquid Eyeliner (Tabac)

BB Cream Tinted Moisturizer (Medium)

Matte Liquid Lipstick (Turn On)

All in all I had a pleasant first experience with La Beaute Fatale. I can’t stress enough how important their business ethic is and how good their products are.  I hope this killer combination make them gain the recognition they deserve.
