Since I moved to the UK, I knew I had to get a new cute and functional waterproof coat, because you know.. London.. rain. Luckily for me, Northern Irish brand Lighthouse* came to my rescue.
This is the first of two gorgeous coats the brand kindly sent me. The Lauren coat is a waterproof, windproof raincoat made in Lighthouse’s own tried and tested waterproof breathable fabric, Shoreline.
What I particularly love about this raincoat and any Lighthouse item for that matter, is that they don’t compromise style for practicity. They show us you don’t have to choose between one thing and another -you can have both.
This fuchsia pink beauty features soft lining with contrast herringbone detailing, a lined, integral, adjustable hood, and an adjustable waist drawcord. It has four external pockets (and a hidden one inside) and a two way front zip with faux leather puller.
I felt so good wearing it! It’s extremely comfortable, the size is perfect, the fabric inside keeps you so warm and the material outside, apart from having a gorgeous vibrant color, it keeps you safe from rain and wind.
As the quality feels so nice, I’m betting this coat will be my adventure buddy for years to come, and the perfect ally for those cold and drizzly visits to my husband’s hometown in Wales.
