Hey babes! How is your week going? Today I bring the second part of my kinda controversial collaboration with LightInTheBox, haha wait no, I’m exaggerating, it wasn’t controversial, it was just a bit complicated that’s all. Anyway, this time I’ll be featuring this burgundy velvet slip dress with a strong grunge vibe thanks to the white tee underneath.
As I stated on my latest OOTD post, the process of getting the parcel from the online store LightInTheBox took a long time, 5 months exactly, but the items per se were okay. My second favorite piece was this dress. I really love the deep burgundy color and how soft and comfortable this fabric is. However, the cleavage is a bit too long and unless I get it altered, it’s kind of impossible to wear it without something underneath. Being the ‘90s kid that I am, and loving all things ‘90s, I thought this could be the perfect excuse to pair it with a white t-shirt and ankle booties, in a grunge 2.0 way, do you like it? I’m looking forward to wear this dress as a party dress as well, so I’ll have to get the straps shortened a tiny bit soon. Could it be a good bday outfit? Omg that reminds me my bday is around the corner (the 23rd) and I have’t made real plans yet lol, every year is the same with me!
