Hi lovelies! As summer is still not over I thought it was be cool to do one of my last “summer favorites” kind of posts of the season, this time featuring a recently discovered brand called FashionMe*! If you haven’t heard about them, let me introduce you to their site.
Like any good online store, you have many categories to choose from, great deals and discounts, free shipping in orders more than £59, and tons of clothing items as well as shoes, bags and accessories.
Given that I’ve been obsessed with summer dresses this season, the first category I explored was the sexy bodycon dresses. There, I saw many styles of tight bodycon dresses and even dresses that have some movement or ruffle details to soften the look.
Red dresses are pure fire, and this spaghetti strapped dress with an asymmetric hem is the kind of dress that turns heads. There’s a super sexy Latin vibe in it, not only because of the red but also because of the movement that the ruffles add to the hem. It almost feels like you’ll start dancing salsa automatically when you put that dress on!
As our obsession for stripes continues this season, this cute and summery striped dress is summer 2018 in a nutshell. The pattern, the color combination, the bow detail in the back forming a cut out on the sides, and last but not least the crossing ruffles in the right places of the dress. This item is actually my favorite one from the bunch.
I always try to include a LBD in my lists because it’s a classic that transcends season and trends. In this case I picked an elegant sleeveless black dress with a tear cut detail in the center, conservative back and under-the-knee length. It could be part of your wardrobe forever.
For an Instagram-worthy summer dress, I would go for this spaghetti straps red and white polka dots dress. Cute, fresh, flirtatious and colorful. Wide ruffles cover the whole hem from back to front, going up to the waist in a wrap illusion and ending in a little tie knot or bow.
I also checked the long sleeve maxi dresses section because they’re great allies for the transition from summer to early autumn, and you can really make the most of them styling them for the heat (think flat sandals, messy beach hair and a straw bag) or for cooler days (paired with boho ankle boots, a western belt and a biker or suede jacket). My picks from this section were this gorgeous green floral wrap maxi dress with ¾ bell sleeves and this other yellow dress, quite boho, with white appliques and complete floor length.
